FAA update (04/17/2020)

What a surprise during the pandemic/shutdown to receive this!   I entered it as a "Cozy IV", but appears most registered theirs as "Cozy MK IV" or "Cozy Mark IV".   Currently the FAA registry shows 52 unique models with "Cozy" in the model name and a total of 266 Cozy III's and IV's.  Whatever they're called...

FAA - update 3/3/2020

The FAA returned the 8050-1 form due to a certification check box not checked.

The sample form I have was dated 2016 and the new on line form is dated 2018 which has additional boxes.   I quickly corrected the form and returned it...

Chapter 25 update

The "dolphin nose" needs a little fill to make it normal.

After the nose job.
Turtleback under the window looks okay in shop lights.

The turtleback area doesn't look as nice using a single point of light (flashlight).  Bumps are only a few thousandths.

A little sanding and bumps are gone.

Marble Stone Zolatone.  Sprayed with a 1.4 HF HVLP gun.  The canopy was sprayed with a 1.8 tip which made a more coarse pattern.

Canopy is on, Experimental placard applied.

FAA registration first steps

Previously, I'd reserved an N-number.

Today I submitted this form (Aircraft Registration Form):

https://www.faa.gov/documentLibrary/media/Form/AC8050-1.pdf
and this Notarized form (Affidavit of Ownership):

https://www.faa.gov/documentLibrary/media/Form/ac8050-88.pdf

Along a $5 check.

Previously, the 8050-1 form was a multicolored form not on line.  Fortunately the on-line form is available now.
