Chapter 17 (trim) and 22 (Electric) Dynon SV42 Auto Pilot Pitch Servo

I used scrap from the Instrument Panel to make an L bracket for the Dynon SV42 servo.   Flox fillets and several BID tapes were used to mount the L bracket.

The servo weighs 3 .lbs and this bracket will easily support 10 times that.

The geometry wasn't quite correct at this location.  The brackets holes were redrilled and the larger hole for the servo's axle was elongated to move the servo up and a little more forward.

The servo arm can be rotated upward in order to install the bolt and nut for the rod.

The arm and rod need to clear the elevator control rod from the stick.   Ideally, the arm of the servo will be in the same axis as the elevator bell crank.
